English Heritage is marking the 950th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings by unveiling a sequel to the Bayeux Tapestry – we’ll hear from children’s illustrator Liz Pichon who designed the new Tapestry.

The featured artist of the week is Andrew Gold.
It’s claimed poverty is costing UK taxpayers 78 billion pounds per year. Researchers looked at how much money is spent relieving deprivation and preventative measures – Jason talks to Katie Schmuecker after 8pm. An Australian family living in the Scottish Highlands have a deadline of midnight tonight to find a job or leave the country.
